This module explains pharmacists’ roles and responsibilities as outlined in the STOP Act, how to recognize specific “red flags” that may indicate that a patient is at risk for opioid misuse and/or opioid-induced respiratory depression. Dr. Craycroft-Andrews explains that even in the absence of misuse, there can be significant risk. She also shares how to interpret CSRS data in order to identify the presence of such red flags.
